TerraLun™ - Core

Our TerraLun™ - Core Simulants combine fidelity, scalability, and cost-efficiency in a robust formulation derived from basalt, anorthosite, and altered peridotite. This triple-feedstock blend reproduces the essential physical and chemical behavior of lunar regolith from Highlands and Low-Ti Mare regions.

With over 1,000 metric tons of annual production capacity, these simulants are suitable for both small R&D campaigns and infrastructure-scale operations. Whether testing a single component or a full lunar architecture, TerraLun™ - Core Simulants deliver the volume, repeatability, and realism your mission needs.

Typical applications include:

  • Geotechnical and mobility testing

  • Excavation and construction trials

  • Large-scale testbeds and lunar terrain simulators

  • ISRU process development (e.g. oxygen extraction, beneficiation)

  • Environmental studies

  • Filtration and sealing validation

All materials are 100% sourced in Europe and validated through NASA’s Figure of Merit (FoM) methodology.

Available now for bulk orders. Smaller R&D quantities will be accessible through our online store before the end of the year.

TLH-0

TLH-0 represents the brighter, older lunar highlands. They are an anorthosite-rich crust with plagioclase dominance.

Fun fact: Many of the brightest regions you see on a full Moon are highland areas.
